My Story

My Home Life:

I am the second-born in a family of four siblings, all girls. I live with my father, Waiswa Yosam, my stepmother, Nakawesa Regina, and my siblings. At home, I help with household chores such as washing utensils, collecting water from the borehole, and cooking with my older sister.

My parents separated, and my mother later remarried. My father and stepmother are peasant farmers who grow crops such as maize, pinto beans, sweet potatoes, and cassava mainly for home consumption, with a small portion sold to earn income. Our family’s earnings depend on the farming season, and the money earned from selling our produce is not enough to meet all our basic needs and support our education. Therefore, I need a sponsor to continue my schooling and achieve my dreams.
