My Story

My Home Life:  I am the second born in my family, living with my two brothers, my single mother, Amupaire Sharot, and a cousin sister in a single rented room.

At home, I help by collecting water from the borehole, washing dishes, and keeping both our house and compound clean.

My parents separated, and my father abandoned us; he does not provide any financial support. My mother works as a casual laborer, doing garden work for people in our village and also washing laundry for them. For example, she can work in the garden from morning to noon for an entire week and earn only 10,000 shillings ($2.86). She also earns about 7,000 shillings ($2.00) for doing laundry for 3–4 hours.

The little money my mother earns from casual labor and washing clothes must cover all our basic needs, pay our rent, and support our education, but it is not enough. That is why I am seeking your support so I can continue with my education and work towards achieving my dreams for the future.
