My Home Life:
I live in a one-bedroom brick house in Muguluka village with my maternal grandmother, Zalwango Aisha. I have one sister and one brother. At home, my responsibilities include fetching firewood, collecting water from the well, washing utensils, and cleaning both the house and the compound.
My mother passed away from HIV three years ago. When my father found out about her HIV status, he abandoned us and didn’t even attend her burial.
My grandmother is a peasant farmer who grows food for home consumption. She does not have a stable income to support our education or provide for our basic needs. That is why I am in need of educational support—to continue my studies and have a chance at a better future.
