My Home Life:
I live in a one-bedroom mud house in Muguluka village with my aunt, Kaudha Jackline. I am the youngest of three brothers. At home, my responsibilities include fetching firewood, collecting water from the well, washing utensils, and cleaning both the house and the compound.
My father died of HIV when I was five years old. After his death, my mother left us in the care of her sister and went to work in Kampala. She occasionally calls to check on us, but she does not send any financial support.
My aunt is a peasant farmer who grows food for home consumption and has no stable source of income. As a result, it is difficult for her to afford school fees or provide for our basic needs at home. That is why I am in need of educational assistance—to help me continue my education and build a better future.
