My Story

My Home Life: My name is Kimono, Mercy. I am auntie to Ronald and have one child of my own to take care of. We live in Butangala village in a semi-permanent 2-bedroom house.

Ronald ‘s responsibilities at home are washing utensils and sweeping the compound.

I am auntie to Ronald since his Mom was my friend and she left him with me to go find work in Kampala, but I have never heard from her and I do not know any of Ronald’s family.  No one has ever communicated with me.

I am a teacher and earn 70,000 shillings ($20.00).  It is not enough to pay rent and all of the other basic needs for the 2 children.  Hence in need of help with Ronald’s school fees.
