My Story

My Home Life: My name is Batoola, Alisata and I am the Aunt to Madina. we live in Butangala in a 1 room bedroom brick house. I am the sole caretaker for Madina and her 3 brothers.  At home, Madina helps me with washing utensils and sweeping the compound.

The Mother abandoned her 4 children.  When she left the children with me she promised to come for them after a month and it has been 5 years since she left.  I have not had any source of communication with her and I don’t know who the Father is of the children.

I am a peasant farmer who digs for others in order to be given food and I lack a source of income to purchase the basic needs for the children.  Hence I am in need of educational help.
