Moses is a boy from the village of Butangala who we met in June of 2016. He was burdened by a large mass of fluid on his neck due to a condition called cystic hydroma. He was such a delightful and outgoing little boy, but his neck was so swollen it was starting to interfere with his ability to swallow. Luckily, he found a sponsor and was able to start going to school but something needed to be done about his condition before it affected his breathing. Through donations to our medical fund, we were able to get Moses evaluated, treated and back to his energetic self. It only cost $750 to cover the expenses. Those funds covered anesthesia, medicine, food for his mother, and all tests required to prepare him for surgery. So much can be accomplished for these kids with so little. His life has truly changed for the better because of gracious donors to our medical fund.
