Theresa's 5th trip to Uganda

It is time to start my fundraiser for my next trip to Uganda. I first want to thank everyone that has donated to my last 4 trips and for those who prayed for my safety while I was in Uganda.

I have raised the goal for this trip because Paul might be going with me, every year the kids ask me, "When is Paul coming to see me?"

When I wear my shirt that says I would rather be in Uganda people always ask me if it's really how I feel.... The answer is YES, things are different in Uganda, the villages we visit are full of love!! I really wish I could visit twice a year so just being able to go once means so much to me!!

During my past 4 trips I have created a friendship with the Ugandan and LCU staff. I have watched our 3 kids' lives change so much because of being in the sponsorship program. They are happy, healthy and are getting an education. I am able to also watch my friends' sponsored students grow up. I love seeing their kids and being able to take photos and videos to bring home to their sponsors.

BACKPACK FULL OF GOODIES Have you ever wanted to send a backpack full of goodies to your sponsored student? For every $25.00 donation towards my mission trip, you will be entered into a drawing to send a kid size backpack full of goodies to your sponsored student. If you have been thinking about sponsoring a student, now is the time!!! Imagine them finding out they get to go to school and then in February they get a backpack full of goodies from their new sponsor!!!!! https://heartsandhope.org/sponsorship I will randomly pick two names live on Facebook). In February 2027 I will hand deliver the backpack full of goodies to your sponsored student and take a video of them opening it!!! * *The Sponsor will be able to pick out the backpack and purchase all the goodies that go inside. (The backpack will then be placed in a compression bag so I can fit it in my suitcase *If your student is not at school on the day of our visit, I will give the backpack to the Ugandan staff.
